Review Esoterica Fade Cream Nighttime with Moisturizers 70g/2.5oz

Esoterica Fade Cream Nighttime with Moisturizers 70g/2.5oz Best Review

I love this product. I discovered it when reading about women using it on their bums to get rid of staining where the sun don't shine :P. I bought it and will admit I was a little skeptical. When it came in the mail it was smaller than I expected but after a month of use I can hardly tell I've used any of it. A little bit goes a very long way. The cream is surprisingly thick, like slightly melted butter, maybe? I dunno. I honestly haven't been the greatest about applying it twice a day but even only applying it once a day or even every other day I can still see a noticeable difference.

As far as the product being dangerous, yes, it has it's risks. Research has shown that the active ingredient Hydroquinone (which decreases the formation of melanin in the skin) cannot be ruled out as a carcinogen (meaning it can't be proven it isn't, like most things). Some experiments on rats concluded that it may lead to higher rates of leukemia with long term use. It also may cause exogenous ochronosis, a disease in which blue-black pigments are deposited onto the skin.

However, the majority of research states that negative reactions are minor or a result of using extremely high concentrations or from other skin-lightening agents such as glucocorticoids or mercury iodine. In fact, topical hydroquinone is considered by many dermatologists to be a safer, similarly effective (if not more so), and less expensive option than lasers or deep peel treatments. Did I mention the over the counter concentration never exceeds 2%?

Of course you should do your own research before purchasing a product with this type of active ingredient. Don't let my review be the only opinion you get before putting something potentially dangerous on your body. I suppose I just see it as a small enough risk that I don't mind taking it. It says to discontinue use once the discoloration disappears, and then to only use it again if it comes back. That means you probably won't be using it longer than a couple months. I wouldn't suggest becoming a lifetime user like some people are, that might be pushing your luck if you are concerned about the side-effects.

Overall it is a fantastic product and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get rid of freckles and age spots, or on any other areas where you want lighter skin.

Fantastic Beauty Cream - T. Miller -
I had been using Esoterica for over 50 years. I thought it had been discontinued until I researched and found it here on Amazon.com.

It's a great economical face cream to fade sun spots and it smoothes and lifts up and tightens your skin. I highly recommend Esoterica Fade Cream for hands and face.

Do your research. - AmazonC -
Before you buy this, I highly recommend you do some research on its active ingredient, hydroquinone. Although the FDA claims there is insufficent evidence to link hydroquinone to cancer, Japan, the European Union, and Australia have already banned it from their products.

Just be safe, and make an educated descision.
