This is an amazing gift, I own one and this is an amazing console for playing the best games ever.

Cons: This is the 2001 version, you CANT install games, like older PSP versions, some ppl are working on that but be carefull if you are planning to download games and install them into this unit.

PSP Lite...and it feels like it (2009-02-05)
I bought this for my daughter so I really have no complaints. But her first expression was "wow" and her second expression was about how "flimsy" the console felt. Her brother has last year's model so we have a basis for comparison. However, enthusiastically plays the games I bought with it so...I really have no complaints.
