Users will enjoy top-notch 3D games with high-quality, full-motion video, and high-fidelity audio. The 4.3-inch wide screen display is bright and beautiful, and works well under many different lighting conditions. If you prefer, you can also connect your PSP to your TV. The PSP utilizes the Universal Media Disc (UMD) for a storage medium, each of which holds 1.8 GB of data.

Hundred of Games to Choose From
The PSP gaming library is hundreds of titles strong and covers a wide variety of genres. Whether you are seeking the hard hits of football or the strategy of a puzzle game, there's sure to be many games for you. The PSP is capable of graphics quality that is comparable to the PlayStation 2, but in a pocket-sized package that you can take wherever you go.

Watch Movies and Videos On The Go
When you just want to sit back and enjoy a movie on a long plane trip, the PSP has you covered. The PSP offers two options to do this: you can either purchase full-length movies and TV shows on UMD, or you can download videos onto your computer and transfer them on a Memory Stick Duo for playing on your PSP. Included in the package is the movie National Treasure 2 on UMD.

You can also watch recorded television content downloaded to a Memory Stick Duo with the TiVo-To-Go service. (Please note that this requires $24.95 fee, you must have a TiVo Series2 connected to your home network.)

Listen to Your Music Collection Anywhere
With the ability to play MP3, WAV, WMA, ATRAC3+, and MP4 files, you can easily use your PSP as an audio player. Simply place your music on a Memory Stick Duo, and you can navigate your collection using the PSP's XMB (XrossMediaBar) to select your song to play.

Built-in WiFi allows for Internet Browsing and Online Gaming

The WiFi also allows you to battle other gamers, both over the Internet and in your local vicinity.

Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters Game Included
With this Limited Edition set, you'll get to play Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters right out of the box. A combination of a platformer and shooter, Size Matters delivers the over-the-top humor and fun that the series has come to be known for.

As is Ratchet and Clank's hallmark, the game features large cache of weapons, each of which can be upgraded to become larger and stronger. It's the sheer wackiness of the weapons that makes the game so much fun: among the many weapons at your disposal, you'll have the option of wielding a shotgun, a pistol that shoots killer bees, and a gun that shoots out robots.

The game makes full use of the PSP hardware and incorporates multiple lighting and particle effects without any slowdown in gameplay.

With this Limited Edition Entertainment Pack, you won't be lacking in entertainment options when you're on the run. In fact, you might actually start looking forward to your long commute.

What's in the Box:
PSP-3000, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters UMD game, National Treasure 2 UMD movie, 1GB Memory Stick Duo, PlayStation Network game download voucher for echochrome.

Only for previous PSP owners or New/Casual audience (2009-03-13)
First and foremost, I'm a gamer. But, I'm a gamer that also enjoys quality additions such as movies, music, photos and whatever the PSP has to offer. It is after all, an entertainment system. If I only wanted the games, I would've still gone with the PSP, not the DS. The DS really only has games that I would've enjoyed if I was a kid. Everything else that tries to attract the attention of adults? They're not my type. So, moving on, I purchased the PSP 3000. I strongly regret doing so, because it was only afterwards that I found out that it really wasn't customizable at all. Had I been smart, I would've done my research beforehand and gotten the PSP 2000. But no, my ignorance went into compulsive consumer mode.

Yeah, the screen is great and very clear/clean. Yeah, there's a built-in microphone. But, what else is there? Not much. Without homebrew, you've got nothing to do. Best Buys seem to lack the selection of UMD movies/videos, so that's out of the question. Games are only more of the same old stuff such as the SOCOM, the Lumines, the Patapon, the God of War, the whatever whatever. The majority are ports that I could care less about. There are some positively-reviewed RPGs and whatnot, but none of these are my types of games. Yeah, the graphics are amazing and gameplay is solid, but I'm overall dissatisfied with these titles. I mean, I want the stealth games and there's like three; Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and the two Syphon Filter games. It's just not enough. On top of that? Some of the games I've anticipated the most are only available in Japan. Great. You can grab a 4 gb Sony memory stick PRO duo and store all the music you want on there for listening pleasure, but if that and videos are all the PSP 3000 allows for play off the memory stick, then you're better off just getting an iPod.

I've only owned the system for about two weeks and I'm already bored. Ratchet and Clank is fun and the Sega Genesis Collection is grade A material for its large range of classics, but I need something else. Sony really needs to upgrade the flash and java support, so that they can run faster. That way people can play flash games on the go. So, if you're not a new/casual gamer and/or portable hobbyist, stick with the old PSPs. At least you can get homebrew apps and other cool expandable options with custom firmware. And if you already own a PSP 1000 or 2000 and are some kind of collector, this one's good for the screen. Other than that? Save your money. This is really disappointing.

PSP 3000 limited edition Ratchet & Clank Pack (2009-02-24)
It was a gift for my son's birthday, he didn't know what sort of game it was but I liked the pack deal & the idea of limited edition so I bought it for him, it's been a month now & he is still playing this game and loving it (which is amazing) and still crazy about his PSP. I love the features on this console; it has amazing graphics, very crisp colors and awesome looks and lots of customization options. It is sort of like Sidekick II cell phone which I have used in the past. I had to block the internet access though with my own password and loved that capability. Over all I am very happy with my purchase & would highly recommend it for all kids of 8 & up.

PSP 3000 (2009-02-17)

The PSP 3000 Limited Edition Rathcet and Clank Entertainment Pack - Silver is just the perfect gift for teens. They are enjoying watching movies and playing the games.

the psp is the bomb (2009-02-12)
my 11 year old son love this console ``is the best console ever and never created '' watch movies , play games , listen music .... etc

Lots to do (2009-02-01)
No longer need a separate MP3 player or potrable DVD player for the car. This little beauty does it all...not just video games. My son LOVES it and was surprised at how much he actually enjoyed the game that came along with it. System came with National Treasure 2 also and then got an extra game deal with it after Thanksgiving. Woo Hoo!

EXCELENT !! (2009-03-04)
This is an amazing gift, I own one and this is an amazing console for playing the best games ever.

Cons: This is the 2001 version, you CANT install games, like older PSP versions, some ppl are working on that but be carefull if you are planning to download games and install them into this unit.

Improved & Classic (2009-03-03)
You get what you paid for, great entertainment item.
Lighter, Brighter and A pleasure to own.

Broken purchase (2009-03-02)
Dear Sir,
I have purchased a PSP through Amazon.com, however, it is broken. It stays on for a few minutes and then shuts off. I tried to contact the seller directly, however, he/she is not responding. Please help me to return the PSP.
Thank you
Elena Bass and Sasha Skadberg

PSP (2009-02-21)
GOT THIS FOR A FRIEND ON CHRISTMAS HE WAS SO EXCITED HE REALLY LOVE IT

PSP Lite...and it feels like it (2009-02-05)
I bought this for my daughter so I really have no complaints. But her first expression was "wow" and her second expression was about how "flimsy" the console felt. Her brother has last year's model so we have a basis for comparison. However, enthusiastically plays the games I bought with it so...I really have no complaints.
